Juve’s player who merits a Flop of the Season Award for last season with Juventus is on the verge of joining Spanish giants Atletico Madrid. Atletico Madrid also have a place in the Champions League 3rd round preliminary round and it would be the unbelievable story should Tiago be wearing the At. Madrid shirt and play his great game ever! Juve are demanding around €12 million and the Spaniards are only offering €11m for Tiago. Juve forked out €13m to buy the Portuguese ‘star’ last summer and they are trying to recoup back the money they wasted on him. The contract has already been finalized with Tiago and thus the only stick that needs to be lined is the transfer fee. Should the transfer go through, this could see Juve open space for another transfer this time into their squad to try and at least please their fans who are growing immensely pessimistic after a somewhat disappointing summer transfer market.
