David Trezegeut has made it known that not even a lucrative offer from Barcelona would prise him away from his beloved Juventus. Trezegeut was instrumental for Juventus in the past season ending just one goal short of Capocannoniere and team-mate Alessandro Del Piero. Trezegeut wants to stay with the Bianconeri and he wants to challenge for competitions next year without any doubt. Having stayed loyal to the Bianconeri when they had tough times in the Serie B, Trezegeut wants to finish his career with Juventus and in the mean time try and win some more silverware.
“I recently signed an extension until 2011 and I hope to end my career here,†Trezeguet told Sky Sport Italia.
“I came close to signing for Barcelona three years ago but Capello convinced me to stay.
“I love this club and I have no intention of leaving.â€
