The Sun today reported that Olympique Lyon promising winger Hatem Ben Arfa has agreed to join Arsenal for £16 million. However, there has yet been no confirmation from either Arsenal or Olympique Lyon, which wanted to keep their star player at the team at all costs. The £16 million mentioned by the Sun is a bit cheap for the potential of the player.
Should the deal NOT take place, one should wait and see if Sir Alex would be ready to enter the market for another winger to join the team. He would be an amazing player for any team, and Fergie knows that he can pose a threat to the Red Devils’ push for success next season if signed by the Gunners.
