The Vapor IX Sunset and Fireberry unveiled by Nike

The Mercurial range have officially released their ninth generation this week with new Sunset and Fireberry editions. The new speed cleat looks set to rock the football boot market as many world footballers have already worn and tested the cleats such as Bayern Munich’s Franck Ribery and Xherdan Shaqiri and Arsenal’s Theo Walcott. The upper surprising many as it features a dimpled upper for increased friction with your foot on the ball.

The speed boots major feature is the super lightweight teijin dimpled upper which offers an enhanced touch, control, quick release and comfort. The twin studs on the heel add instant and enhanced acceleration from the turf. The Fireberry cleat is to be worn by current Nike stars in cluding Cristiano Ronaldo, Franck Ribery, Neymar, Alexandre Pato and Kevin-Prince Boateng.

The successful ACC technology is incorporated in the upeer allowing for an optmised performance in both wet and dry weather. The Sunset cleat is to be worn by new and upcoming footballers including Stephan El Shaarawy, Romelu Lukaku, Xherdan Shaqiri, Theo Walcot and Wilfried Zaha.
