Scotland have made the trip to Belarus this evening to take part in World Cup qualifying action.
Steve Clarke’s Scots started their qualifying campaign off with a very reasonable draw away to Denmark at Parken over the weekend and will hope to make it four points from two matches.
They are the favourites to win this evening but it will take a brave performance away from home as it always does.
Clarke had a relatively attacking XI out against the Danes and, on paper, Belarus certainly are no Denmark. So the head coach will surely push the forward agenda with the likes of Ben Gannon-Doak, Che Adams and John McGinn among those players who can expect to push on.
Leading bookmakers have Scotland at 4/9 to win the first game between the two sides, with the hosts Belarus at 13/2.

Lyndon Dykes anytime scorer @ 13/8
The Scotland striker nine goals from his 42 appearances for his country and four of them have came away from home. The big man is no stranger to a big goal for Scots and another this evening would be timely.
The odds may not be the longest but for anytime, they are decent enough.
Scotland most corners @ 3/10
Another element of the treble which doesn’t necessarily prove great value for money on its own, but as part of a treble, it works.
Scotland have a strong plethora of attacking players and they’ll want to pepper the Belarusian goal in a bid to drive up their stats and goal difference which can always come into play later in the campaign.
They should test the home defence and goalkeeper, and that should come with a number of corner set-pieces from blocks and stops.
Scotland/Scotland half-time/full-time @ 6/5
Scotland can surely expect to pick up three points at ZTE Arena but it may not come easy. Still, Clarke’s troops should certainly have enough about them to win so long as the head coach takes the training wheels off and goes with a strong attacking lineup as he did in Denmark.
