Head coach Herve Renard has chosen his strongest squad at his disposal and it is hoped that this squad reaches the quarter finals, a target which was set by the Frenchman. The squads hopes of success rest on the shoulders of 4 key players. The Katongo brothers will hope their skill and experience rub off onto their teammates as they have a massive influence on the squad. Chris Katongo is the team captain and is their star forward, he plays his club football in Germany with Arminia Bielefield in the Bundesliga 2nd division. Whilst his brother, Felix, plays his club football in South Africa with Mamelodi Sundowns. Another player to watch out for is goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene who on his day is an inspirational player and top drawer performances from him in the tournament may yet be valuable to his team progressing beyond the group stages. Striker J.Mulenga is tipped to be a star of the tournament after his stirring performances in the Dutch Eredivisie for FC Utrecht have suddenly caught the eye. His goals will be very useful for a side that struggled to get goals in the final qualifying round.
