2011 FA Cup 3rd Round Draw

For almost any Football League fan, today is the most exciting day of the football calendar. Comparable with the opening day of the season, the 3rd round draw welcomes the big boys to the fray, with the possibility of some outrageous mismatches.

Today, the draw will be presided over by Surge from Kasabian and Noel Gallagher, formerly of Oasis. The draw will take place at 6pm and you can view it from a variety of sources, including FATV.

Of course, the game everybody wants to see is FC United against the real deal, Manchester United, however either team feel about the fixture. But FC United still need a win against Brighton in their replay next Tuesday. Dover Athletic will be ready for another giantkilling as they take ball 63 while York City can be relatively hopeful of being drawn against a Yorkshire heavyweight for a mouthwatering derby.
