FA Cup Draw Sparks Excitement

The draw for the third round of the FA Cup came to a conclusion this afternoon, as Noel Gallagher and Serge Pizzorno drew out some mouth watering ties.

Two ties caught people’s attentions as Arsenal secured a home tie against Leeds United, of course last season Simon Grayson’s Leeds side played out a famous 1-0 victory against Manchester United at Old Trafford. Meanwhile another spectacular tie will be Leicester City v Manchester City, Sven Goran Eriksson now with the Foxes will take on his former side, plus former Leicester player Roberto Mancini will be the opposing manager.

With seven ties left to decide, Manchester United were then picked for a home tie. There opponents were picked out by Manchester City fan Noel Gallagher, the ball proved to be Roy Hodgson’s Liverpool.

Other ties to look out for are Huddersfield v Dover, Dover being one of the second round giant killers. Bolton will host another surprise package in York City, while Stevenage are at home against Newcastle United. Lastly the current FA Cup holders Chelsea were drawn against Ipswich.
