In Arsenal’s Arsene We Should Trust

This season Arsene Wenger is facing his toughest year as Arsenal manager yet by the media and fans. The press will always look for a story to sell and it seems that speculating about Arsene’s qualities and determination is high on the cards this year. But an increase amount of fans have also been questioning if Wenger is still the right man to manage Arsenal. With a huge increase of fans getting fed up with a trophyless season every year that has now gone up to 8 years and also the lack of spending on players is it time for Arsene to move on?

The answer is no. The reason for this is Arsene Wenger is still a top manager that trully cares and loves Arsenal and only wants the best for this club. He has rejected clubs like Real Madrid and even his own country to stay with Arsenal, if thats not dedication  and loyalness to the club, then nothing is. Also he works miracles each year actually getting Arsenal into the top 4 with the budget he has and how at least one of his main top players leaving the club and betraying his support when they where a nobody. For example Van persie and Nasri created into top players by Arsene  and as soon as they become good enough they betray him and the club and leave. Yes i agree with some supporters that some of his substitutions and team selections are poor, but he does this because he believes in his players and shows great faith into them and thats how some become into top players, like Henry, Fabregas, Pires the list could go on and on.

However the board have said that there is money to spend now that is believed to be up to £70 million for this January and summer transfer window. This money needs to be spend on players that are already great not great potentials and the main position that needs to be imrpoved is up front. Arsenal need a quality stricker to fill that spot that Van persie left. There isn’t many players that have the quality Van persie has but there are some very good goalscorers that could be bought by Arsenal and definatly imrpove the squad. This is where Wenger can win some fans back and this is where Arsenal can become title contenders again. Another main thing that Wenger must do is get Walcott to sign a new deal. He has imrpoved greatly and looks like a good player now after so many years of looking like a average player. However don’t be suprised if Theo does leave this summer for free. Whatever happens this season Arsene should be given more trust and we should always support our team in good times and bad times.
