It is an interesting fact that if France win against Holland, and Italy lose against Romania, the Italians will DEFINITELY be out of Euro 2008 just after 2 group-stage matches! The below information would only stand if the assumption that France win & Italy lose becomes real.

Netherlands 3 points
Italy 0 points
This would mean that Italy will not even be able to get the 3rd place, as they lost 3-0 in the direct encounter with Holland and have the worst goal-difference.
