Austrian medias claimed that Croatian captain Niko KovaÄ extended contract with his club Red Bull Salzburg for one more season.
Niko KovaÄ (36) signed the contract up to June of 2009 on the insisting of the club authorities. According to the official statistics, Niko is club’s the best player in this season in which he played 25 games and scored 3 goals, while he had 86% accurate passes.
Croatian representative is in Red Bull since 2006 and had played total of 45 games with 7 goals scored.
