In the middle of the universal euphoria appeared the information that Niko Kranjčar could leave the club from Fratton Park because of the great sympathies and interest of Arsene Wenger. Some English medias even placed the story that Liverpool’s manager Rafael Benitez is ready to give Peter Crouch and 8m pounds for Croatian national team player.

“It would be ridiculous to say that the call of the great clubs like Arsenal doesn’t get to me. Every player wants to have a great career, play in Champions League and win as many trophies as possible. But, I’m very happy in Portsmouth, especially after this victory in the finals of the FA Cup, because the next season will be even better. The appearance in the UEFA Cup is a great opportunity for me”, says Niko who wants that everything goes it’s natural way.

“I’m not in a hurry. I’ll turn 24 this summer and I’m looking forward to EURO. Nobody knows what the next season brings, but for now I’m satisfied here and at the moment Portsmouth is the greatest club for me”, claims Niko.
