Britannia Stadium Upgrades

The Brit is getting it’s usual pre-season spruce up, with a new lick of paint to the stands and all 28,529 seats being cleaned. Aside from this, two more significant changes are being made to enhance the matchday experience and help City’s chances.

A new 44 metre square screen is being put in to replace the old scoreboard dubbed ”the calculator”.

On top of this, the tunnel that the players take from the dressing room to the pitch is being redirected so that the players will come out into a sea of Stoke fans, rather than next to the away fans as has been the case in the past. This is hoped to give the Stoke players a psychological advantage and hopefully improve on-pitch fortunes.

The fact that I’m reporting this shows how slow a news day this is as we wait for news regarding Austin’s work permit.
