Bundesliga Calendar Year Table 2025: Bayern Munich Finish Top by Huge Margin After Losing Crown in 2024

Bayern Munich earned more Bundesliga points than any other team in 2025 as they regained first place in the calendar year table after losing their crown to Bayer Leverkusen in 2024.

In 34 matches, Bayern earned 87 Bundesliga points in 2025. That was 21 points more than their closest rivals, with 2024/25 champions Leverkusen taking 66 from their 34 matches.

Bayern’s dominant year can be further demonstrated by their goal difference. Bayern’s was 77, which was 2.75 times greater than Borussia Dortmund’s, who had the second-best Bundesliga GD in 2025 with 28.

Unsurprisingly, Bayern were the league’s leading scorers, netting 107 goals at a rate of 3.15 per game. They also had the meanest defence, with just 30 goals conceded.

At the other end of the scale, no team lost more games or conceded more goals than Heidenheim — who ended 2025 by losing 4-0 at home to Bayern in the final round of Bundesliga fixtures before the winter break.

Harry Kane leads Bayern Munich to over 100 Bundesliga goals in 2025

Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga tally of 107 goals in 2025 was their highest since 2021, when they netted 116.

However, they played four more matches in 2021. Based on goals per game, 2025 was Bayern’s most prolific year this decade in terms of Bundesliga goals scored, with their average of 3.15 beating their previous best of 3.10 from 2020.

England captain and Ballon d’Or hopeful Harry Kane scored 31 of Bayern’s 107 Bundesliga goals in 2025.

Kane — who is on course to break Robert Lewandowski’s Bundesliga record for most goals in a season, having netted 19 times in just 15 games so far this term — assisted a further six of those 107 calendar-year goals.

Bayern Munich end 2025 on a high after an imperfect November/December

Bayern Munich signed off for 2025 with a 4-0 win over Heidenheim on Sunday.

It was a perfect finish to the year. Indeed, Bayern had made a perfect start to the 2025/26 season by winning their first 16 games in all competitions.

But November and December were imperfect by Bayern’s impeccably high standards.

Their first dropped points of the campaign arrived on November 8, when Bayern required a 90th-minute Kane equaliser to claim a 2-2 draw at Union Berlin. Later that month came a 3-1 loss at Arsenal in the Champions League.

December was almost perfect but for a 2-2 home draw with Mainz, during which Kane was again needed to score a late leveller.

Bayern are now in holiday mode, with their next fixture not coming until January 11, when they begin their 2026 Bundesliga schedule at home to Wolfsburg.
