Roma vice-captain Daniele De Rossi who will be wearing the Number 10 Italy shirt in the upcoming Euros fears it maybe difficult to grab a first-team spot due to the number of great players that Donadoni has to his command. De Rossi also commented on the loss of Cannavaro which brought Viola defender Gamberini in the squad.
“I don’t know if I will be starting any games but I hope I do,†said De Rossi.
“There is plenty of competition in midfield and it’s going to be difficult.”
“I am not too worried about playing alongside Andrea Pirlo. The coach has never said that we cannot play together.”
“I have a great relationship with him anyway.â€
