
Leo Beenhakker was selected as Poland’s coach post World Cup. Many people thought that the Polish team would crash and burn and not make it to EURO 2008 how wrong were they?
Poland has been rejuvinated by Beenhakker, when he arrived he recieved a team which struggled to stay on its feet with real problems people were wondering if it would of been better if he had of stayed in the Carribean but by the end of 2007 he was a national hero guiding Poland to top of group A in quailifying and hailed as Man of the Year by prestigious magazine Wprost.
Beenhakker’s key has been Flexibility he has frequently changed formations and makes it hard for opposition teams the only consistency is 4 at the back. He experiments with 4-4-2 to 4-5-1 and 4-3-3, with ball retention key.
Beenhakker seems to be just the person Poland need even if they fail at EURO he should lead them to the World Cup.
