Polish midfielder Jacek Krzynówek thinks that historical rivalry is not the issue as Poland prepare to face Germany in their group B opener on Sunday.
Krzynówek plays in the Bundesliga with VfL Wolfsburg and eh thinks that the international team mates don’t even think about past rivalries between the 2 countries let alone use it as a motivation. “We’re not thinking about what happened ten, 20 or 50 years ago. The important thing is that we are prepared to win this game against Germany and we are ready,” added Krzynówek.
All in all this is Krzynówek opinion the only chance Poland has is if they dwell on the rivalry between each other and play to their full potential to defeat their bitter rivals.
