Game 15 & 16 – Daggers pick up 4 points

Daggers 4-0 Grimsby – Tuesday night
Daggers 0-0 Accy Stanley – A wet Saturday afternoon

Dagenham and Redbridge will probably view this as a decent 4 points to pick up. A comprehensive victory against a poor Grimsby side was expected but a visit from bogey team Accrington Stanley had many fans unsure of the outcome. After a poor first half Daggers display, a clean sheet will be of a great relief to the home side.

Here are my ratings over the two games for the players

Roberts – 8 – Can’t complain with 2 clean sheets, made saves at crucial times to keep the opposition at bay
Griffiths – 8 – Starting to get back to his best form. Only criticism is that he panics when he crosses the half way line, has so much potential to be a dangerous overlapping but too often panics and plays a stupid ball.
Magnus O – 7 – Looks clumsy at times but takes everything out the air and hasn’t made any fatal errors.
Arber – 8 – Makes defending looks easy at times.
Foster – 7 – Not quite back to full fitness but is getting there with games.
Saunders – 6 – Tough game in horrible conditions against Accy. Probably got a sore neck from constant hoofed balls.
Southam – 8 – Very good display against Grimsby and unlucky to be dropped for the Accy game.
Gain – 8 – Solid as ever
Taiwo – 6 – Doesn’t look right to me at the minute. Giving away posession too cheaply and needs a rest.
Richie – 7 – Efficient yet unspectacular display against Grimsby, was kept quiet against Accy but occasionally burst into life.
Strevens – 9 – Works all day long.
Benson – 8 – Noticed the difference when he come back into the team against Grimsby, Accy kept him restricted to half chances.
Nokkers – 6 – Needs to do more to get into the team at the minute
