Real Madrid legend has explained how Vinicius Junior can get Madridistas back in his corner after the Brazilian was booed at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Vinicius Jr. has made headlines for all the wrong reasons this season.
Initially, there were reports of a rift between Xabi Alonso and the left-winger. Some believe Real Madrid have backed Vinicius in the whole ordeal, jeopardising Alonso’s position at the club.
Vinicius Jr. has also reportedly been stalling his contract renewal, holding out for more wages. Los Blancos have already offered him a €20 million / year deal, which he has turned down.
He reportedly wants to earn as much as Kylian Mbappe, who takes home around €34 million. Predrag Mijatovic has advised Real Madrid not to give in, saying Vinicius does not deserve Mbappe-level wages.

His negotiating power has also been affected by his poor run of form this season.
The 25-year-old has only scored five goals and provided seven assists in all competitions. He has not scored in his last 14 appearances for Real Madrid – since scoring a brace in the 3-1 win over Villarreal on 4 October.
Some fans have grown frustrated with the winger, and they expressed it by booing the player during Los Merengues’ 2-0 win over Sevilla on Saturday.
Vinicius Jr. Told How He Can Win Real Madrid Fans Back
Former Real Madrid player and manager Jorge Valdano has commented on the Vinicius incident. He has told him how the player can get back in the fans’ good graces.
“Vinicius will solve it by playing“, Valdano said on Futbol en Movistar Plus+.
“I must say that what Vinicius has experienced is something half of the footballing world has experienced at the Santiago Bernabeu. The Bernabeu is not an easy ground when things aren’t going your way, and Vinicius is now suffering the consequences.”
He continued:
“Vinicius has gone many games without scoring goals and without having the same impact on the field as he used to, and this also contributes to the public’s dissatisfaction.”

“As soon as Vinicius recovers his form, he will also regain the applause.”
The former Real Madrid sporting director concluded by adding:
“I was booed for a long time at the Bernabeu, and it’s tough.
“In those moments, you have to maintain a certain coolness and have the courage to have the ball, to ask for it at all times and not hide.
“If not… you’re not good enough for Real Madrid.”
Real Madrid have finished the year in second place in the LaLiga table. They trail leaders Barcelona by four points. The Merengues are next in action against Real Betis on 4 January.
