Croatian International defender Dario Knezevic has today signed for Juventus officially. The Croatian impressed during the Euro 2008 tournament and the Juve board saw him as a requirement for their next season’s ambitions. Knezevic has had already a taste of Italian football having played for Livorno in the past two seasons.
” I arrived in the best team overall and I must face myself with Champions like Del Piero and Trezegeut. Definitely,each day and each training session will provide me with something new to learn,” were Knezevic first comments when presenting himself to the press.
Details of the transfer were not yet disclosed and Juventus now look to finalise the details of the Xabi Alonso deal before getting back on their search for Buffon’s reserve and possibly another midfielder.
