Teenagers Adel Taarabt and Giovani Dos Santos haven’t been given too much of a run-out in this relegation dog fight, and now Harry Redknapp has sent the pair out on loan to Queens Park Rangers and Ipswich Town respectively.
Harry recently stated that he thought Taarabt was the best player in the Spurs squad, yet he has not so much as made the bench in recent weeks. Making his Morocco debut in the last international break, Taarabt should get regular games at QPR and come back with some invaluable experience.

Giovani has been given even less of a chance. Only starting two games under Redknapp, the two UEFA Cup ties against Shakhtar Donetsk, Gio hasn’t seen much action after missing out on the new gaffer’s first few months due to injury. This could mean one of two things. Either Redknapp wants to give him first-team action until the summer, allowing him to come back match-fit ready for next season; or he wants him match-fit ready to sign for Portsmouth in the summer.
