Manchester United aim to make a fourth successive win in the champions league when they take on Russian side CSKA Moscow for second leg group stage match. Ferguson’s men go into the game with confidence after returning to winning ways in the premier league after a 2-0 win to Blackburn rovers. In the first leg of which these two teams met, United beat the army men of Moscow by one goal in the eighty sixth minute by Antonio Valencia.
Form
With newly appointed manager Leonid Slutsky, the army men have adopted a new style of play which resulted in a one goal win over FC Terek (their first win in the campaign). In addition to the army men going into the game with confidence, the red devils will also go into the game with confidence as they won the last time out and in Europe. If United beat Slutsky’s men, the reds will gain qualification.
