No Need for a Team Talk?

“Arsenal Ladies would probably get a draw against Spurs”… well at least that’s the veiw, and more than public veiw, of Cesc Fabregas. But those comments could possibly bounce back at the midfielder, as he has pretty much given the Spurs team talk for Harry Redknapp. Don’t get me wrong, Kelly Smith would probably bang a few past Gomes, but that is exactly the sort of arrogence that Arsene Wenger would usually dismiss and look upon with scorn, when said by an opposition player.

This is thge sort of game that, under Juande Ramos, I’m sure there would not be a Spurs fan in sight that wasn’t confident, even if we were to go into the game on two points. He proved in Spain, and began to prove in England, that he could work magic against the big boys, but couldn’t hack it in games his team were expected to win. After all, half of his points this season came at Stamford Bridge. But, wether Redknapp has a good record against the big four or not, there hould still be that new manager vibe around the club, and around the players. But will that be enough to carry the mighty Spurs through? In yesterday’s pre-match press conference, Harry said “No disrespect to Bolton, they’re no Arsenal. We will need to keep the ball.” Which Tottenham did without fail against Bolton.

Jonathon Woodgate and Ledley King are both doubtful, or, if you beleive Setanta News, ruled out. Gareth Bale returns from suspension, whilst Michael Dawson is still suspended.

During the wait for the big kick-off, here’s some happy memories…
