The latest Reiss Nelson transfer news suggests that Sevilla have reignited their pursuit of Arsenal winger.
The 25-year-old is expected to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer after falling out of favour under Mikel Arteta.
The Spanish club were previously linked with Nelson in January 2024, when a loan deal was explored but ultimately never materialised.
Now, with Nelson once again on the market, Sevilla are said to be keen on reopening negotiations.
Reiss Nelson Asking Price
Relations between the two clubs remain positive following Albert Sambi Lokonga’s loan spell at Sevilla last season.
Although the La Liga side opted not to activate their permanent purchase option for the Belgian midfielder, the move has kept communication channels open and may smooth the way for a fresh agreement over Nelson.
Sevilla’s preference is for a straight loan deal, providing them with depth on the flanks without committing significant funds upfront.
Arsenal, however, are stalling on those terms as they want a permanent transfer. The Gunners are believed to be seeking a fee in the region of £15–20 million.
Reiss Nelson Transfer News
While Nelson is open to the prospect of moving abroad, his preference is to remain in the Premier League if possible.
The winger came close to re-joining Fulham earlier in the summer, only for that deal to collapse at the final stage. Since then, no firm approaches have been made by English clubs.
Everton were also linked with Nelson earlier this month, but their signing of Tyler Dibling means they will no longer pursue a deal.
West Ham had previously shown interest, but Nelson’s £100,000-a-week wages have deterred several potential suitors.
For Sevilla, Nelson represents a proven European-level winger who could add pace and creativity to their attack at relatively low risk.
With his Arsenal contract running until 2027, the Spanish side know a permanent deal may be beyond their reach this summer, but a loan agreement could still be struck if the Gunners relent.
Unless a Premier League club revives their interest, Spain could become the winger’s most realistic destination.
