Soccer AM’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy draw has pitted Tranmere against Huddersfield Town in Northern Section Semi-Finals.
It will be the first time the sides have met in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy but the last cup game between the two ended in a 3-0 win for Huddersfield back in 1980. Earlier in the season a league match at the Gaplharm Stadium ended in a 0-0 draw.
The winners of the match in the week of 29th November will play either Carlisle or Sheffield Wednesday in a two-legged affair for a chance to play at Wembley in the showpiece final.
