Bristol City Football Club has confirmed that it has already sold over 10,000 season tickets for next season.
The club also confirmed that the 1,000 season tickets on offer in the Wedlock Stand, or ‘East End’, have already sold out.
Perhaps the continued number of sales is somewhat surprising, following the team’s recent poor form including last Saturday’s loss to Stoke, which has almost killed the Robins’ dreams of automatic promotion to the Premiership.
However, it seems that Ashton Gate will be fuller than ever when the next campaign begins in August. However, there is a long way to go before then, and so it is still unclear whether Bristol City will be playing the Championship, or entertaining some of the best players in the world in the Premiership next season. Premiership or not, it seems that the fans are fully behind Gary Johnson’s men.
