Jacek Bąk has replaced Maciej Żurawski as captain of Poland after Żurawski strained his quadricep in the opening game. Bąk, 35 has plenty of experience at International level with 96 caps for his country.
This is what he had to say about recieving the captaincy: “It is an honour for me to be captain but it’s such a pity that Maciej is injured and we have to do without him.”
BÄ…k has had many experiences at this stadium at International and Club level he his hoping this will improve his and the teams performance. Good luck to Poland.
