Stoke City is My Favourite Club

Lots of people all around the world support my favourite team, which is Stoke City. It was said by the Premier League and the Football Association that Stoke have the loudest fans in the whole of England and that is really an amazing thing for a little side like Stoke. At the Britannia Stadium where Stoke play, there are only about 30,000 poeple but at Old Trafford where Manchester United play, there are over 75,000 so for all these Stoke fans to make so much noise is wonderful. And I am one of those.

Every home game I try and go to so I can see Stoke win a game because we always do well at the Britannia Stadium. I want to go and watch Beattie score a goal or see Shawcross make a header or see Cresswell do a really good run and tackle. It makes me really, really proud and happy to watch Stoke win because they are my team and it is almost as if I am winning the game myself, and that is something which I really like.

Also, the songs and chants that we sing are really loud and funny, especially the one about Delap and his long throws which make other teams worry. That always makes me laugh out loud! Also, when we sing about other teams in a bad way, it is always funny because their fans are still at the stadium and I have once seen another fan from Arsenal cry when we sung about his team and how bad they are.

Finally, I want to say thank you to all the Stoke fans around the world because it is amazing that Stoke can have fans from really far countries such as Spain and Europe and there is one country which I think is called Egypt and I once met a Stoke fan on holiday there. How weird!
