Top v Bottom in Ibrox Clash

Falkirk will make the trip to Glasgow for Saturday’s SPL encounter with Rangers at Ibrox. The SPL Champions went 10 points clear on Wednesday with a 2-0 win against St Mirren, combined with Celtic losing at home to Hibernian thanks to a last-minute winner from Danny Galbraith. Steven Davis and Nacho Novo were on the scoresheet for Rangers on Wednesday as they bounced back from a poor 1-1 draw last Saturday at home to Hearts.

Rangers will be without Kenny Miller on Saturday as he picked up a hamstring injury in midweek against St Mirren. Pedro Mendes will also be out due to his move to Sporting Lisbon, Rory Loy completed a loan move to St Mirren Park this week and Andrew Shinnie moved to Dundee on loan also. The Rangers injury list also contains Kris Boyd and DaMarcus Beasley who are out again for this one. Madjid Bougherra is still away on International duty in Angola. On a positive note for Rangers, Steven Naismith is avaliable for selection and was on the bench during the 2-0 win at St Mirren. With Miller out, John Fleck could partner Kyle Lafferty in attack for Rangers but Steven Naismith is also in contention. Nacho Novo is set to continue on the flanks with Davis and McCulloch in the centre.
