Xhaka to miss the Olympics

Recent Borussia Mochengladbach signee Granit Xhaka has been removed from the Swiss Olympic team at the request of his new team. While it’s unfortunate that the Swiss won’t have him to be at full strength, its nice to see that the Foals want him to be fully prepared for the upcoming Bundesliga season. Considering that Marco Reus, who recently moved to German champions Borussia Dortmund, this appears that they are considering using Xhaka as more than just a reserve.
