5 things we’ve learnt from the Premier League.

1. Chelsea are out of the title race. After yet another loss, the Champions are now a massive 9 points adrift off Man Utd, and I doubt that we will see John Terry lifting the trophy come May. New transfers or not.
2.  Mancini does not believe Man City can beat Arsenal. After 90 minutes of  what can only be described as the closest to Catenaccio we have seen in recent times, it would appear, that with all the attacking power the former Inter manager has at his disposal,  the Italian does not think that City can overturn the Gunners on their own patch.
3.  Tottenham need a better defence. If they are serious title contenders, as they are hoping to be, then Spurs need to tighten up at the back. This isn’t the first time Spurs have left themselves open to the attacks of lesser teams, and If you want to be title contenders, then you need reassurance in defence.
4. Roy Hodgson is not the man for Liverpool.  Despite other problems circling Anfield these days, not least the lacklustre performances of the players under his control, there is now no denying that there is something  distinctly lacking from Roy Hodgson, and he perhaps maybe better suited outside the red hot seat in Merseyside.
5. The title is still wide open. Despite all the cynicism in Ferguson’s favour, the title is nowhere near won. Manchester City, are still only 2 point’s behind United with the2nd Manchester derby of the season still to come,  and Arsenal 2 points behind Man City with a game in hand, as well as the opportunity to beat United at the Emirates still to be played, as well as the North London derby, and leaders Man Utd still have to play Chelsea home and away.
