Bilić possibility for the selector of French national team?

One-time football giant Domenech led to only one (1) point at Euro and that’s why he’ll be deposed on the 3rd July. France is looking for a new man, fresh blood, a great leader.

French Football Federation will on the 3rd July decide of the future of the selector Raymond Domenech, who has the contract until 2010.

It’s not at all necessary to mention that he’s getting ready to receive disposal, so even the respectable journal L’Equipe already started research for his successor and highlighted its five candidates for the new leader of Tricolors.

The new selector should be a foreigner, and ideal solution would be Jose Mourinho, Portuguese who took over Inter after almost a one-year brake, thinks the author of the article.

On the high second place L’Equipe placed Croatian selector Slaven Bilić, with an explanation that he’s one young and spirited coach who would, for sure, bring freshness into the team and throw out old men like Thuram and Sagnol.

On the list are also Guus Hiddink, Sven-Goran Eriksson and Ruud Gullit.

Zinedine Zidane, one of the best players of his time, has also dared to say something on the same theme. He was looking for Domenech’s successor in his own lines so he found him in Didier Deschamps.

The great Zizou thinks that Deschamps has all what is needed to be a great selector and emphasized that, in front of France, is shiny future “because one great generation comes, full of talented players”.

I also hope that Zizou is right for Deschamps so they won’t think of ‘stealing’ Bilić from where he is now – Croatian selector, because that would be tremendous loss for Croatian football and especially national team.
