England Vs Czech Republic- Match Preview.

It’s time the highly paid England players turn over a new leaf and destroy the heartache the England fans have experienced in the last year

A luxurious, demanding and highly criticised squad come together in a friendly that will test the nerve, steel and talents of Fabio Capello.

The Golden Generation has alot to answer for. After “The Wally with the Brolly” lost his job, fans have called for a major shake up. Instilling a mindset that would wipe away “prima donna” claims. Showing the support that they deserve to pay £80 for a friendly with trecherous parking and weather conditions.

Tuesday night will see the beginning of precedures. Capello will name his captain, the player to lead England through bad and good. Above all, to show enough leadership and desire to prove to supporters that a new England era has begun. Joe Cole has declared his commitment by stating that “23 men in that squad would run through brick walls” in order to get the hampered squad to the World Cup.

The 23 man squad (displayed in my other article) springs no surprises. Peter Crouch has been overlooked as Capello yearns for pace. Ashley Young was dissapointedly dropped from the squad but, we should “trust the Italians” as David Beckham told a press conference.

The Czechs are fallen giants. A side that craved success but hasn’t delivered. Beatable on all accounts, England have a stronger side. Fans expect… and rightly so. With a few stars in Koller and Baros, the Czechs are still a force to be reckoned with.

Personal Prediction:

England fans won’t go down heavy on Capello and will allow him time due to his every increasing CV. England need to start passing the ball and playing the way they perform in the Premiership. There is no excuses anymore, fans have put the heartache of the Euros behind them. Wednesday is the beggining of a new era. Lets hit it off with a bang and prove to the world that we are not the laughing stock.

I think England will win, but in none sustainable fashion. They will be pushed to perform. They will win 2-0 if they use the flair and aggresion that should have built up.
