Galatasaray haven’t given up on signing Manchester United’s Scott McTominay

Galatasaray are reportedly still hopeful of securing a deal for Manchester United’s Scott McTominay.

The 27-year-old has been attracting a lot of interest from several clubs after his excellent performances for United last season.

He made 43 appearances across all competitions last term, scoring 10 goals and creating two assists in the process.

Fulham recently had a bid rejected for the Scotland international but the Cottagers could return with another offer.

West Ham United have also renewed their interest in the midfielder, while Tottenham Hotspur reportedly have joined the transfer race as well.

However, Florian Plettenberg reports that Galatasaray haven’t given up hope on McTominay.

The Turkish outfit reportedly feel he is open to a move to the club and they have good chances of landing him this summer.

Manchester United recently confirmed Mason Greenwood has left the club on a permanent basis to join Marseille.

The Red Devils have already sold Donny van de Beek and Willy Kambwala, and it looks they are ready to cash in on McTominay as well.

The 27-year-old isn’t regarded as a first-team starter who only has a year left on his current contract, although the club have the option to extend it by another 12 months.

United have completed the signings of Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro, but are expected to make further additions to the squad before the transfer window closes on August 30.
