Jadon Sancho Tik Tok Hacked: Aston Villa Star’s Old Habits Die Hard

Jadon Sancho is yet to see his Aston Villa stint really kick into gear.

The Manchester United loanee has barely kicked a ball for Unai Emery’s side thus far since he made his last-minute move to Villa Park.

Sancho was a Monchi signing before the Spanish president of operations departed the club but the England international has been unable to dislodge those ahead of him in the pecking order.

Sancho’s career had stalled, somewhat, at United following his previous Chelsea loan where their obligation to purchase was bought out by a £5million penalty fee.

The playmaker snubbed a move to AS Roma despite an apparent agreement to slash his wages in order to force an Old Trafford exit before the summer window closed.

Jadon Sancho TikTok hack prompts Aston Villa doubts

But it looks – from the outside looking in, anyway – like Sancho’s old habits have returned and are keeping him focused on other things away from the game.

Sancho has struggled for minutes at his loan club but his TikTok account being hacked took some of his attention away as he posted a statement on his socials confirming the issue.

In an Instagram post, the 25-year-old playmaker wrote: “My TikTok account has been hacked once again! So any messages from the account is not me!”

It comes as illness has ruled the former Borussia Dortmund star out of action for Villa. However, Sancho will undoubtedly be desperate to play more of a part in this season for the club.

Villa have improved in recent weeks following their stuttering start to the campaign which had manager Emery questioned as well as the club’s lack of goals.

Sancho’s attitude has been criticised at Manchester United and elsewhere

But Sancho’s three appearances – totaling 114 minutes of football in all competitions – have not done much at all for the player to consider himself an important member of the squad so far at all.

Sancho’s ability on the ball can hardly be questioned. But over the years his efforts on the training pitch have been and that is possibly where things have gone wrong for the creative in recent seasons.

Erik ten Hag was unconvinced with his work rate while Pep Guardiola, from his time at rivals City, was critical of his attitude at the time.

Those concerns have reared their head on multiple occasions throughout Sancho’s career and Villa was meant to be the club where he found a new home.

That has not proven to be the case yet and fans may be frustrated when reading about his TikTok issues over his plan to play more often for the club.
