Leicester City have today completed the loan signing of Fulham striker Diomansy Kamara, the Senegal international joins the Foxes until the end of the season. The 30 year old was slowly degrading down the Fulham pecking order, as Andy Johnson and Bobby Zamora both returned from injury a couple of months ago. Kamara was a vital part of West Bromwich Albion’s 2007 season, where he was named in the PFA Championship team of the year, aswell as picking up the reward for West Brom’s player of the year.
He joined Fulham in the year 2007 for £6 million, and in his spell with the London club he was loaned out to Celtic where he managed to score two goals in nine games. The 30 year old though has now joined Leicester City until the end of the season, he joins Kyle Naughton, Ben Mee, Jeffrey Bruma, Patrick Van Aanholt, Miguel Vitor and Yakubu in the list of Leicester City loanees. Kamara could well make his debut against Middlesbrough on the 2nd of April.
