Sky Sports understands that Leicester City have completed the signing of Rochdale left-back Tom Kennedy. Kennedy turned down a contract extension with Rochdale, as he decided that he wanted to move to a better club. The 24 year old was touted for a move to Doncaster Rovers, however it is understood that the “Foxes” snatched his signature.
Kennedy was named in the League 2 team of the season for 08/09 and 09/10, Rochdale boss Keith Hill also stated that Tom Kennedy was the best left-back in League 2. Leicester City though have snapped up the highly rated 24 year old, as he will officially join the “Foxes” on the 1st of July.
