Poland defence ready for next game

Poland have been hard at it on the training pitch trying to get their sloppy defence ready for the next game against Austria. Beenhakker said that Germany had a strong attack but the individual mistakes by Poland were not on. Here they are in detail:

“Sometimes the outcome is from individual mistakes and that’s part of football,” “If an opponent scores a goal as a consequence of great play, then you can live with it, but the goals we conceded against Germany were from personal mistakes. For the first goal, one of our boys stepped out to play offside but he did this on his own, not in co-ordination with the rest of the defence; for the second goal, one of our defenders could have headed the ball out of the stadium but made a wrong choice.”

He went on to add that the only way this can be fixed is on the training pitch and that mistakes define a team and too add he can only do so much.

The Poles should hold a clean sheet against the host nation Austria in their next game but they should be wary of the hosts putting a very strong performance in against Croatia better then expected. Lets hope it is an entertaining game and Poland can get 3 points in the right direction.
