Poland captain Maciej Żurawski is likely to miss the rest of Euro 2008 unless they go deep into the tournament.
Żurawski came off at half time in the game against Germany and had hoped to return to the team for the Austria game on thursday. All hopes of this were ended Żurawski was found to have strained quads with some bleeding and unlikely to make a return during the tournament.
Marek Saganowski is the likely replacement in the starting line up for Żurawski. Poland have not had any luck this tournament but maybe able to pull it together for their next game against Austria.
