Sousa Quits Swansea

After a week of strong speculation involving Leicester City to the services of Paulo Sousa, reports tonight claim that Sousa has left Swansea City by mutual consent. Confirmation on these turn of a events is expected tomorrow morning, and it is highly likely that Sousa will pen a deal with the “Foxes” later this week.

Only a couple of days ago the Portuguese coach failed to turn up to pre-season training, amid reports that Leicester were all set to clinch the services of Sousa. Leicester chairman Milan Mandaric was expected to fly out of England to meet up with his number one candidate, this being Paulo Sousa who reportedly was on holiday in Mandaric’s flying destination.

Now with Paulo Sousa officially resigning as Swansea boss, it is highly likely that Leicester City will still need to pay a compensation package to the “Swans”, however with a deal already rumoured to be agreed, and a three year deal likely to be on the cards, Leicester have wasted no time on making a swift appointment.
