Spurs Ladies draw a blank.

Juandeful recently posted a match report on the senior sides game against Middlesbrough and I’ve commented a bit on the reserve and academy sides through my ‘7 young Spurs players to watch’ project. Therefore, I thought it only fair that I posted a brief report on the Spurs Ladies game against Whitehawk.

The game took place on Sunday and was part of the new look womens football league. Away team Whitehawk started brightly and were unlucky not to go a goal up. Spurs played better in the second half but Whitehawk always looked more dangerous. Never the less, Spurs defended deep and were unlucky not to score through a counter attack when winger Clinton shot wide.

Spurs and Whitehawk both take home a point from the encounter. In other results, Luton smashed Northampton 7-0 and Lewes beat Camebridge away from home 4-2.

The game gifted a debut to Spurs keeper Ricole Vyse. Defender Kelly Herret ( pictured ) skipperd the side as usual.
