Spurs have released their squad numbers for the 2008/2009 season.
David Bentley will waer the no.5 shirt whilst Luka Modric will be the new no.14. As expected new ‘keeper Gomes will inherit the no.1 shirt from Paul Robinson. Also, Dimitar Berbatov was giving a squad number, increasing the speculation regarding his future at the club.

No squad number was given to the following players- KP Boateng, Taarabt, YP Lee, Rocha or Stalteri. It seems unlikely that any will feature in the up-coming season.
