Former Italy stricker Alberto Gilardino has transferred from AC Milan to Fiorentina, the Tuscan Club said on Wednesday.
Gilardino scored 36 goals over a three year period at Milan, but never fully lived up to his hype or what AC really thought he would
become. Gilardino started several games with Milan and he also started in Italy’s World Cup victory in 2006.
Now Gilardino is a great player, but now the only question that remains is was this a good move on Milans part or was it a key loss
for them. No, Milan really didn’t need him, cause as I’ve said before he really didn’t live up to all of the hype as the next greatest
Italian Soccer Forward. AC Milan will continue to grow in talent, but they will have to really pull some strings to get Eto’o and
Drogba. But I did hear that Chelsea was going to release Drogba as a free agent, but that’s just a rumor so I don’t know if that’s
entirely true.
