John Eustace has joined Derby County on loan until the end of the season.
Eustace turned down a move to Brighton & Hove Albion in January and joins Derby as they look for cover in the central midfield area.
Aidy Boothroyd’s signing will not be eligible for what could be a crucial end of season clash between the two sides.
The midfielder signed from Stoke City in January 2008. He has since made 32 appearances for the Golden Boys, scoring twice in the process. Since the arrival of Brendan Rodgers however, Eustace has fallen down the pecking order.
Eustace will be linking up with former Watford players Nathan Ellington and Jordan Stewart on his arrival at Pride Park.
