All you need is love

How could you not have loved this past week?

How could you not love the drama that unfolded in southwest London regarding Andre Villas-Boas?  How could you not love the drama surrounding Chelsea’s potential Champions League exit only to go on and win Group E and avoid Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Barcelona in the Knockout Stage?  How could you not love his now famous ‘slap in the face’ comment?  How could you not love his back and forth with Gary Neville?

How could you not love Arsenal debuting statues to Tony Adams, Herbert Chapman and Thierry Henry?  How could you not love Robin van Persie’s incredibly goal against Everton?  How could you not love that Arsenal has been around for 125 years and provided so many memories for their supporters?

How could you not love that Wayne Rooney has found his scoring touch again?

How could you not love watching the atmosphere at Carrow Road Saturday?  (Canaries v Magpies)

How could you not love that Wigan continue to work the collective butts off to stay in the Premier League?

How could you not love the passion that Joey Barton and Craig Bellamy display each week?

How could you not love Martin O’Neill being back in the Premier League?  How could you not love Sebastian Larsson going from villain to hero in the span of a week?  How could you not love that Steve Kean still has a job at Blackburn?

How could you not love a crazy game between Stoke and Spurs?  How could you not love Harry Redknapp’s passion for Spurs and wanting the best for his players?  How could you not love another case for video replay following one blatant handball, one missed onside and one questionable handball?

How could you not love Chelsea is still relevant in the title chase?  How could you not love that Frank Lampard started the week on the bench only to finish the week scoring the Blues’ biggest goal of the season?

I loved it.
