Rushden manager Garry Hill has finally announced his retained list for the 2008/09 season.
Players leaving
As earlier reported, Dean Howell signed a two year contract with Aldershot Town after impressing manager Gary Waddock. Paul Nicholls, Andy Gooding, Alex Bolt and Abdou El-Kholti have all been released and are free agents to join other clubs. Also, Curtis Osano and Conal Platt have returned to their clubs after their loans spells ended. Platt has recently signed for Forest Green Rovers.
Players Staying
Chris Hope, Jon Challinor, Curtis Woodhouse, Andy Burgess, Michael Rankine, Lee Tomlin, Tom Shaw, Marcus Kelly and Sam Smith have all been retained. Martyn Margarson, Jake Beecroft and Michael Corcoran have all exercised optional extentions to keep them at Nene Park. Finally, Phil Gulliver has signed a new one-year contract.
