Wednesdayite are to ballot its membersÂ
There have been a number of promising developments at Hillsborough this week. The consortium, lead by Geoff Sheard has put in a formal bid to takeover the club.
The Swissed based lawyers, lead by Sheard has put in an offer to four major shareholders, with two of them agreeing to sell their shares to Sheard.
The most significant development is the Owls fans group ‘Wednesdayite’ agreeing to ballot their members as to whether or not to sell their shares. Members have been given 14 days to make their decision.
Wednesdayite chairman, Daryl Keys told BBC Radio Sheffield that the price of the shares was not an option for the group.
