Henk Timmer is 36 years old and he plays as a goalkeeper for Feyenoord in the number 31 shirt. He was born in Hierden on the 3rd December 1971, and is 1.88 metres tall and weighs 90 kilograms. Until today, he has played for four different professional teams: FC Zwolle, AZ Alkmaar (2 spells), Feyenoord (2 spells) and Ajax Amsterdam. In the 2007/08 season, he triumphed with Feyenoord in the Dutch Cup.
Timmer made his debut for Holland in November 2005 in a friendly against Italy, in which he came on as a substitute for the second half. Holland lost the game 3-1. Timmer is yet to appear in a competitive match for Holland, and due to his late break into the senior squad, he has only earned 5 caps until now. He was assigned the number 13 shirt for Euro 2008.
