We’re taking at look at the Antoine Semenyo replacement options Bournemouth are reportedly considering after their star forward joined Manchester City.
Bournemouth are in the market for a new attacker after the departure of Ghanaian international Semenyo.
Semenyo joined Manchester City earlier this month, with Pep Guardiola’s side triggering the winger’s £62.5 million release clause.
Despite the significant windfall from his sale, replacing him will not be easy.
The 26-year-old had scored 10 Premier League goals for the Cherries already this season.
And with Justin Kluivert’s injury, resources are stretched thinner than ever.
As a result, it’s pivotal that Bournemouth bring in the right man, and quickly.
Andoni Iraola has made clear that his side are in the hunt for reinforcements, with as many as three new signings planned.
Bournemouth made an offer for Galatasaray striker Baris Alper Yilmaz, and remain keen on the Turkish international.
But they must find a winger to directly replace what they have lost in Semenyo.
Below, we have picked out some of the top targets Bournemouth are reportedly considering.
Bundesliga Star Now Bournemouth’s Top Target
With Crystal Palace signing Brennan Johnson, Bournemouth have already missed out on one top target.
But reports indicate they have now turned their attanetion to Stuttgart forward Jamie Leweling.
German international Leweling has notched up a superb six goals and eight assists so far this season.

Like Semenyo, he can play on either wing or through the middle. This versatility is exactly why Iraola is so keen to bring him in.
But with a rumoured £35 million price tag, Stuttgart are hesitant to sell one of their top talents mid-season.
Champions League qualification is a serious ambition for the German club, making any January deal unlikely – barring a monstrous bid.
Leweling is also though to be keen to see out the season with his current club, meaning Bournemouth may have to revisit this one in the summer.
Plenty Of Options Remain For Andoni Iraola And Bournemouth
However, Leweling is not the only name on Bournemouth’s shopping list.
Brazilian forward Rayan Vitor is another potential option.
The 19-year-old Vasco da Gama attacker has scored 20 in all competitions this season.
A Brazil youth international, the youngster is absolutely one for the future, but could be a long-term solution.
Bournemouth are considering a £30 million offer for the teenager, who they feel could reach the highest level.
Elsewhere, Leicester’s Abdul Fatawu is another rumoured possibility, and matches Semenyo’s profile in terms of pace and skill.
Bournemouth Could Use Loan Market For Antoine Semenyo Replacement
Should they be unable to negotiate a good deal on any of those targets, the loan market remains an option.
Arsenal’s Ethan Nwaneri has been touted for a possible short-term move, which could suit both clubs.

Gunners youngster Nwaneri has struggled for minutes at the Emirates this season, and may need a loan to continue his development.
Regular game time at a solid and ambitious Premier League club might be exactly what he needs to kickstart his career.
Bournemouth still have all three loan spots available so are well placed to take advantage should he become available.
