Antoine Semenyo Trolls Ghana Teammate Kudus After Bournemouth Stun Tottenham

Antoine Semenyo could not help himself this week as he trolled his Ghana teammate Kudus over last weekend’s Premier League outcome.

The Ghananian star has taken time off from club football in the Premier League to head for international duty with his country this week.

The Ghana first team will square off against Chad in a World Cup qualifier tomorrow in a 2pm kick-off time, and spirit in their camp appears to be high if their latest interaction is anything to go by.

Semenyo was in charge of social media for the squad and the 25-year-old made sure to have some fun with it as he lapped up the sunshine as he and his teammates were put through their paces.

Following his side, Bournemouth’s, victory over Tottenham last weekend, Semenyo went out of his way to troll his pal by sprinting to the bench from the pitch where Kudus sat.

The new Spurs man could not prevent defeat for his side at home against the Cherries, and Semenyo wanted to remind him of the score.

On social duty, Semenyo said: “Hi guys, you know who it is. Ku my boy, how was the game on Saturday?

“Let me go ask him!”

Eventually Semenyo would run over to his buddy and he chuckled: “How was the game on Saturday bro?”

Kudus laughed along, chiming in: “It was good… we will be back! We will be back.” As his striker mate ran off, he continued laughing: “1-0, 1-0, 1-0,” as the rest of the squad joined in on the banter.

Semenyo and Kudus both played the full 90 minutes at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Cherries saw off their hosts thanks to a goal from Evanilson in the first five minutes of the action. Spurs and Kudus would huff and puff but it would be a famous win for the visitors who took the scalp home with them.

Kudus cost Spurs £55million when he moved from Premier League rivals West Ham United this summer and he has started well enough in the white.

His 13 goals and 12 assists in just 65 league outings for the Irons earned him the move to North London where, under Thomas Frank, the club will have visions of pulling up trees and shocking a few pundits.

Semenyo, meanwhile, notched 13 goals and provided seven assists for Bournemouth last season alone and he has two goals from his first four outings this term so far.

Newcastle United wanted Semenyo before they ultimately landed Yoane Wissa on a big money deal.
